Introduction to Analysis
The first semester of this course explores Precalculus topics in depth such as polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions, conic sections, vectors in both two and three dimensions, sequences and series, probability and math induction. The second semester will explore the initial concepts of calculus which will include limits, continuity, derivatives, techniques of differentiation and their applications. Applications will include optimization, related rates and linear approximation. The Calculus portion will continue the succeeding year in BC Calculus. The graphing calculator will be used extensively in this course.
